Consignment Policies
Our process is simple:
- Make an appointment and bring all of the items that you want to consign. We accept the wedding gown, undergarments, bridal jewelry and veils. Please note that we will accept wedding gowns no older than 4 years old.
- You and Almond Tree will determine a good selling price for each item. Typically this would be 50% of the retail price.
- Your items will be put up for sale. As they sell you will receive 50% of the sale price.
- Cleaning: Almond Tree can offer cleaning services for your gown – $20 for spot cleaning and $100 for full dry cleaning.
- Repair: Almond Tree can provide repair services – to be quoted at consignment appointment.
- Administrative fee: Since Almond Tree pays to insure the safety of your items and maintains their upkeep, a one-time administrative fee of $20.00 is due upon consignment.
- Consignment period: There is no contractual time limit. However, if it is noted that there is no particular interest in your item after 6 months we will contact you to discuss how you would like to proceed.
